Oregon School of Natural Hoof Care's Facility

Natural Hoof Trimming School

Fifteen minutes from Medford, Oregon in the mountains around Jacksonville, students enjoy this vacation-like atmosphere to learn in.

There is a large open style covered arena that showcases the beautiful mountain area.  Each student has their own location under the roof to bring an equine in for trimming.  Both the student and horse are comfortable and out of the weather.

Students are welcome to bring their equines though not necessary as the school has a large herd of equine for practicum training.

Lodging at the campus includes three bunkhouses with full bathrooms, a campground with power, RV hookups and tent locations. There is free onsite laundry, a comfortable spa area and a large deck next to a cement pond with cascading waterfalls for relaxation. Wi-Fi is provided in the kitchen, classroom and deck locations.

Smoking in comfortable designated areas is provided but no smoking in the buildings.

Meals are served three times a day in a community kitchen that can sit thirty individuals comfortably or enjoy dining on the deck. There are multiple pantries for the pickiest eater. And the kitchen area has additional refrigerators for students who wish to bring personal drinks and food items
